Dustin Kurtz - Equity Partner
A graduate from Oklahoma City University School of Law’s 2006 class, Dustin began his legal career that same year as an associate at one of Oklahoma City’s premier family law firms. In 2008, Dustin left his private practice to join a major independent E&P company located in Oklahoma City. During his 5-year tenure in the corporate world, Dustin served as a landman and also as an in-house attorney. Ultimately, in 2013, Dustin decided to join C&V’s Joseph Valerio, along with another colleague, and together founded their own firm, where he continued to focus on oil and gas law until 2020.
After a brief tenure at another oil and gas firm with offices in Oklahoma City, Dustin joined C&V in 2022 as equity partner, bringing his legal expertise from his nearly 15-years in the oil and gas industry. Today, Dustin continues to focus on oil and gas property rights. He is seasoned in the preparation of drilling title opinions and division order title opinions for lands situated in the states of Oklahoma and Ohio.
